Friday Night Live: Christmas in Downtown

The first Friday of the month is always a party in Downtown Woodstock thanks to Friday Night Live! Downtown merchants stay open late for this monthly event, so folks can enjoy the many restaurants and stores of the vibrant, walkable Downtown area, often with live music, activities, and other fun stuff for the whole family.

December’s event theme is the spirit of Christmas. Come on down to grab a tasty dinner and do some holiday shopping at our fantastic local stores and boutiques in a fun, festive atmosphere. Santa has already RSVP’d, so you definitely don’t want to miss out!

Christmas Jubilee

  • Saturday, December 5th

The festive fun continues in Woodstock the next day at our annual holiday jubilee! This day of fun events has something for everyone. At 2 pm the Elm Street Theater will perform The Christmas Carol free to the public.

Kick off your Christmas season with the traditional Christmas Jubilee Parade of Lights, then bring your kids to the Park at City Center to meet Santa. The Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to light the park and the Christmas tree, and there will be music by Ronnie the DJ, as well as a free moonwalk for the little ones!

A movie in the park starts at 7:30 pm, so bring chairs and a blanket to bundle up and enjoy the show!
